Welcome to Danhostel Roskilde
Set in a uniquely designed building, this hostel is located in Roskilde’s harbour along the Roskilde Fjord. It features individually decorated rooms with a private bathroom and flat-screen TV.
A daily breakfast buffet is available at Roskilde Danhostel, as well as pre-arranged packed lunches. We also offer laundry facilities and free public parking.
The Viking Ship Museum is located next door, while the Roskilde Cathedral is a 5-minute walk away. A variety of restaurants are located within a few minutes' walk of the hostel. The Roskilde Festival site is about 3.5 km away.

Roskilde is the home of Denmark's most coveted sights, such as the Cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage), the Viking Ship Museum and the Land of Legends. Other charming sights include town centre with great shopping, small narrow squares, courtyards, and cafés. However, Roskilde is probably mostly known for rock festival, ‘the Roskilde Festival’ with more than 120.000 people attending every year..
Roskilde is alos a bit of a traffic junction, connected by railway to all of Zealand, Funen and Jutland and only a 30 min. trip to Copenhagen by car or train.
